Authentic Korean food! The Spicy Stir-fried Chicken and Kimchi Fried Rice Skillet is the perfect dish to share, and I love how well the cheese mixes well with the rice and chicken. The Makguksu and Jeyuk Bokkeum were both delicious as well and so flavorful. The prices are pretty good, and they have big portions. The staff were so friendly and attentive, and our food came extremely fast. The interior is casual and cozy.

I like their fried chicken a lot, super crispy and tasty on the outside and juicy on the inside. Honorable mention on their kimchi fried rice with cheese on the side. It was very stringy cheese and fits super well with kimchi fried rice. I wanted to order another one on the spot only if I had the stomach for it after the fried chicken. It's also not very crowded and loud inside, which I like a lot compared to other korean restaurant. Service was great, staff were nice. Overall I would recommend this restaurant.

The inside was very cozy and the staff was very nice, I like that there was a button to call them on the table. I ordered the secret skillet which I really liked and it's a really big serving so I took a good portion of it home, I would definitely recommend.

We went here last week and it was amazinggg! The food was soooo delicious & the waitress was so friendly and attentive. We came last Thursday in the afternoon and it was not busy. Food came out fast too which I appreciated because we were all so hungry! We ordered to share: 1) kimchi corn cheese, 2) 6 piece sodam chicken marinated in soysauce & garlic, 3) dduk mandoo guk, 4) spicy pork cheese skillet w/ kimchi fried rice. Kimchi corn cheese - This was standard but delicious. It tasted like corn and cheese. I did not taste the kimchi part. 6 piece sodam chicken marinated in soysauce & garlic - delicious! It was crunchy on the outside & tasted savory + sweet. Dduk mandoo guk (homemade beef dumping on rice cake soup & vegetables) - This item was super delicious! The rice cake was so tender & the soup was delicious! The beef dumpling was good but a bit soggy. Overall, this item was still delish! Spicy pork cheese skillet w/ kimchi fried rice - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! WOW! This item surprised us the most! It was soooo damn delicious! The spicy pork was well marinated and tender. The kimchi fried rice w/ cheese was amazing! A bite of all the items in 1 spoon was orgasmic! The spice was just right. Highly recommended!

Sodam is one of my favorite places for Korean food. The ambiance is great for small groups looking for a cozy place to eat and chat. Service is is responsive friendly and quick; just push the button to ring for service! My to favorite for is the seafood (pancake hamul pajeon). It delicious and tasty. Second favorite is the ddukbokki pasta. It comes out bubbling hot and will warm you up; it is on the spicy side but not a lingering heat. My visits are usually Saturday lunch. Total recommend this place.

Sodam has been on my list for years now and I finally got to see what the hype is about. We arrived around 630pm on a Sunday night and the restaurant was quite busy. All the customers spoke Korean so I knew I was in for a great meal. We opted for the classic C-1. Spicy Stir-fried Chicken & Kimchi Fried Rice Skillet along with the kimchi fries. The kimchi fries came first and they were cooked to perfection. The melted cheese on top was such a nice addition. I really enjoyed the orange sauce that was drizzled on top as well. The one improvement point for this dish was to actually incorporate more kimchi in it. The kimchi was very minimal and didn't seem fresh like the banchan. Now the star of the show was obviously the spicy stir fried chicken skillet. This skillet looked amazing and I was so ready to dive in. I spent a few minutes mixing all the cheese and meat together with the rice, creating a saucy and gooey pan of heaven. The taste was wonderful, a perfect combination of flavors, cheese, rice, and chicken, just what I was craving. It is the ultimate comfort food that would warm you right up. The skillet was a good serving size for two, but we weren't able to finish due to our order of fries. Overall, I had a great experience and meal at Sodam and would surely return whenever I'm craving their delicious skillet

I came here with some friends for lunch. The service was great. The worker got us situated quickly and the food came out fast too. We ordered: Kimchi fried rice with rice cake 9/10 This was a bit spicy but not unbearable. The cheese plus fried rice was super good. I would definitely recommend if you can handle a little heat. The rice cakes were super soft. Kimchi fried rice with steamed egg 10/10 I'm usually not a fan of steamed egg but this dish surprised me. The egg was super fluffy and flavorful. They had bits of corn inside with gave the egg a little sweetness. Soy garlic and marinated fried chicken 7/10 The soy garlic wings tasted like normal Korean fried chicken. The interesting sauce was the marinated ones. This was a sweet sauce that reminded me of the Chinese rib sauce. I would recommend if you want fried chicken but not the typical soy garlic sauce Overall I would recommend coming here to share a meal with friends or family.
